House of the Dragon co-showrunner Miguel Sapochnik is stepping down. Starting House of the Dragon season 2, Sapochnik will be credited as executive producer, as Game of Thrones alum Alan Taylor takes his place. Sapochnik has also entered into a first-look deal with HBO to create new projects.
