Amazon Subscription Services Grow 10 Percent YoY, Reduces Headcount to 1.52 Million as Revenue Tops Estimates

Amazon beat revenue estimates even as the company reported its second consecutive quarterly loss. Subscription services have grown 10 percent compared to the prior year, according to the firm. The e-commerce giant revealed that it is making progress in its efforts to controlling some of the excess costs from its massive expansion during the COVID-19 pandemic.
