Facebook Parent Meta Begins Trading Under Ticker META, Drops FB Symbol

Facebook owner Meta has dropped FB symbol from the trading listings nearly after a decade of its usage, as it begins using the ticker META from Thursday. Meta Platforms rebranded from its eponymous social networking platform in October 2021. Meanwhile, the company shares have fallen 42 percent this year.
