The Disciple, Chaitanya Tamhane’s Venice Winner, Heads to Netflix

The Disciple — Court director Chaitanya Tamhane’s next movie — is headed to Netflix, as the streaming platform has snapped up global rights for the film that won the award for best screenplay at the 2020 Venice International Film Festival. Oscar-winning filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón served as the executive producer.
